    Great workmanship, like always. Just a note on the finishing process you have used: ebonizing works for any kind of wood that contains enough tannin to react with the iron acetate, at least in its surface layer. You can therefore blacken any wood that will soak some liquid into its surface by first applying a few layers of extremely concentrated black tea. This way, you can blacken even maple, which has naturally very low tannin content.
